For something a little different for your little ones, why not bring them along to Wellgate Community Farm in Romford and let them become a farmer for a day.
The sessions are sponsored by the Heritage Lottery Fund and are free to attend. They run from 10am to 3pm every Tuesday until August, 30th.
The day will involve learning about traditional farming methods with a focus on looking after chickens, sheep and goats.
It will be a fun and hands on day with a little bit of learning and a lot of fun getting involved in hands on animal care activities.
You will get to meet their animals and spend the day looking after them.
You will also learn about the traditional tools and techniques farmers used to use and how some of them are still used today.
