There is nothing more inspiring than a parent who fights for their rights to do the best for their child and their family.

Clint Edwards is one such parent who didn't sit back when he struggled to find a changing room for his daughter.

No, he fought for change and now gets to celebrate his "serious victory" - proving the power of one voice.

"I'm calling this a win! The church I attend didn't have a changing table in the men's room," the dad-of-three wrote on his Facebook page,  No Idea What I’m Doing: A Daddy Blog

"As a father with a young child I really hate when I can't change my kid."

Admitting that he is not exactly enamoured to changing a nappy (is anyone really?), Clint explained that he doesn't think the burden should always land on his wife's lap, adding that "this whole parenting gig is a partnership" - and he's right, it is a partnership.

But when they are out and about, with a lack of changing facilities in the men's it often does fall on Mel to do it - because the only alternative is to change his daughter on the floor.

"Mel and I go somewhere, and there is no changing table in the men's room, so I am placed with the option of changing her on a nasty bathroom floor, or asking my wife to handle it time and time again," he continued.

"Or I'm out alone with my children, and I am left with no option to change my child outside of taking her to the parking lot.

"I have serious empathy for those single dads with young children who are doing this without backup."

Frustrated by this, the American father decided that enough was enough and did something about the situation in his local church to start off.

So he mentioned his frustration to some people... "And boom!" He showed up one Sunday to a men's changing room.

"It's a small change. It's one men's room out of a million. But for me, as an active father with a desire to care for my child, it was a serious victory."

What do you think? Does the UK have enough changing facilities for both men and women?
