Ferne McCann has penned an open letter to her daughter Sunday and it is bound to bring a tear to your eye.
The mum took to Instagram to share the sentimental letter that revealed her daughter saved her during one of the toughest times in her life.
She wrote: “You have no idea just yet, but you saved me through my darkest times. Because of you I was able to find hope, you were my light at the end of the tunnel. You are and always will be my ray of sunshine.”
The mum continued to share her hopes and wishes for her baby girl, sharing that she wants her to have a big heart and to always wear it on her sleeve. She also told her daughter to be a good friend, to listen to people, to give them her time and to always smile.
“Be a strong woman, have confidence to know your self worth and have the strength to chase your dreams. Do not waste your time on negative energy vampires.”
She encouraged her daughter to say sorry when sorry is due and to learn the power of self care. She advised her to eat well, to exercise and to always be true to herself.
As her daughter will grow up in the digital age, Fearne urged her not to get sucked into social media, “Don’t spend your life looking down, look at the world around you, there is so much to see.”
She continued: “There will be times when you are sad and angry and confused but I will be here for you to dry your eyes and to remind you that it is all part of your journey. Always look forward because the past is called the past for a reason, tomorrow is a new day.”
“Most of all my munchkin, darling girl, I wish for you to always know just how deeply loved you are,” she concluded.
Ferne’s letter has us feeling super emotional and itching to give our daughter a big cuddle.
