It certainly has been a busy week for celebrity babies! Just a day after Molly Sims, Megan Fox and Zac Hanson shared their baby news, former Hollyoaks actress Sarah Jayne Dunn has announced the arrival of her first child.

The 34-year-old, best known for playing the role of Mandy Richardson on the popular Channel 4 soap, has welcomed a son with husband Jonathan Smith.

Sarah Jayne took to Instagram to share the exciting news, posting a photo of a banner reading ‘It’s A Boy’.

“Our gorgeous little man arrived safe and well on 7th August. We’re in love,” wrote the excited new mother, to her 12K-strong Insta-following.

Sarah Jayne has yet to share any further details – including the tot’s name, but we will keep you posted as soon as we find out!

The star’s fans reckon she may have dropped a hint with her recent snapshot of the baby’s room, however, which features the lit-up letters ‘POM’. Hmm – what could that possible stand for?! Place your bets!
