Gabrielle Union and NBA star husband Dwyane Wade have welcomed their first child together. The proud parents took to Instagram to share their joyous news and we couldn’t be happier for them
Gabrielle revealed their daughter was born via surrogacy. Their baby girl was born into the world on November 7.
The mum shared the lyrics of Lovely Day by Bill Withers in the announcement post.
The Bring It On actress wrote: “When I wake up in the mornin' love and the sunlight hurts my eyes and there's something without warning, love bears heavy on my mind.
“Then I look at you and the world's alright with me just one look at you and I know its gonna be a lovely day,” the mum wrote.
Gabrielle admitted she was feeling pretty exhausted, but her baby girl made everything better: “We are sleepless and delirious but so excited to share that our miracle baby arrived last night via surrogate.”
The new mum shared: “11/7 will forever be etched in our hearts as the most loveliest of all the lovely days.”
“Welcome to the party sweet girl! #onelastdance #skintoskin,” she added.
The arrival of their baby girl has certainly brightened both Gabrielle and Dwayne’s lives. The parents have been trying for a child for so long, so there’s no doubt this moment means the world to them.
Gabrielle previously revealed that she had suffered eight or nine miscarriages. She shared the harrowing information in her book We’re Going to Need More Wine.
