The arrival of a baby is always a beautiful thing, but especially if you have agonised through years of fertility struggles and disappointment.
This turned out to be the case for one US family recently, who have warmed hearts around the world with the following video.
Mum-to-be Ashley got in touch with the team behind the Love What Matters Facebook page, to share footage of her mother’s reaction when she told her she was expecting.
“For years, infertility was a constant struggle. Then, a baby was conceived – NATURALLY! Grandma is surprised with the news and is beside herself with joy. Here is her beautiful (and adorable) reaction to the miracle,” reads the video’s introduction.
In the footage, Ashley is seen presenting her mother with a gift box containing a positive pregnancy test. Once her mother finally gets over the shock, she is overjoyed at the prospect of becoming a grandparent.
