She welcomed her third child last September, and she herself admits that she thought the third time around would be a walk in the park; however, this week Holly Willoughby has opened up on the unexpected challenges she has faced with baby Chester.

The 34-year-old presenter, who is also mum to six-year-old Harry and four-year-old Belle, admitted that the past few months have been particularly tough with her youngest child.

Revealing how Chester has suffered from bad reflux and a tongue-tie, Holly admitted that looking after her little one has brought her right back to her early days of motherhood.

“Honestly, Chester felt like my first. I think the biggest thing I’ve learned along the way is just to give yourself a break. We’re all so worried about doing everything so perfectly. Actually, all they need is your time and your love. I know that sounds ridiculous, but it’s true,” the This Morning host told The Mirror.

Holly is currently on maternity leave from ITV’s popular morning chat show, but she’s also preparing to front a new show, Play To the Whistle.

We’re sure there are plenty of mums out there who can relate to Holly’s situation. We hope all is well with little Chester now that he has almost hit the eight-month mark.
