Mum-of-six Krechelle took to Facebook recently, following an incident that took place while she was sitting in her doctor's waiting room.

An incident that, shockingly, involved Krechelle's hair colour.

"I was sitting in the waiting room at the doctors the other day and an older lady turned to her daughter and asked her very loudly 'look at its hair?! Is it a boy or a girl; atrocious, isn't it?' and nodded in my direction," Krechelle wrote on Facebook.

The mum-of-six was completely stunned by the throwaway comment, and as a tear escaped her, Krechelle felt incredibly small.

"My throat dropped into my stomach. I couldn't believe it. How could she say that so maliciously."

However, in a bid to turn a bad experience into something more positive, Krechelle decided to call out this person for what she is: a bully.

And went on to highlight that no matter what age you are "bullying is bullying".

"I couldn't believe what I heard yesterday. It really hurt. It still does; it always will," she wrote.

"Bullying is bullying; no matter what age.

"Being different doesn't mean you can bully me?

"Being different is what makes me interesting, it's what makes me unique; it's what makes me; me.

"I love me for me. I hope you can love me too."

Quick to thank Krechelle for sharing her experience, fans praised the blogger for being unique and for having such wonderful hair.

"People are just plain rude and uneducated! Can you imagine the world full of just one person, everyone with the same hair, eyes personality? OMG, what a sad place it would be," wrote one.

"Being unique is what makes us all, well us. I love your blog and following you! Remember, people who matter don't judge, and people who judge don't matter!

"Don't let that woman and her beliefs or hate red dull your sparkle! Keep shining mama [sic]."
