For some reason, breastfeeding is a divisive topic that has, in recent times, led to controversy for mums everywhere. And what for? Is it not the most natural thing in the world?
A hilarious new video by the team at the ‘WhatsUpMoms’ YouTube channel captures a mother’s breastfeeding experience as it really is, and parodies all that is wrong about public perception of, and reaction to nursing.
From those horrified stares when you’re breastfeeding in public to the completely ridiculous aprons you’re expected to cover up with, this video absolutely nails what it’s really like for a mum to feed her child around the watchful eyes of others.
No doubt you will be able to relate to each and every stage that this mother goes through, and while the montage is endlessly entertaining, it also sends a pretty powerful message about the obstacles we still face when we choose to breastfeed.
