I couldnt even afford milk: Stacey Solomon reflects on her first pregnancy

Stacey Solomon has opened up about how her life has changed since becoming famous. The mum-of-three is always honest about all aspects of her life on Instagram and one of her most recent posts proves that she is as down to earth as everyone believes.

Celebrities and influencers are often given gifts, including holidays, clothes, makeup; you name it and they’ve been gifted it. We’re sure the novelty wears off after a while but Stacey has stressed just how much these free products mean to her.

The mum shared a photo of her sons wearing t-shirts designed by Sabrina and Scarlett Designs, a small company who create hand printed and personalised clothing. The company couldn’t help but praise Stacey for giving them a shoutout to her followers.

They gushed, “I can’t help but look at this photo with a huge smile on my face...wow! I absolutely love following Stacey, she is so down to earth. I’m so glad you and your boys love my items. As a small business this is a dream come true.”

Stacey explained why she will always do everything in her power to support small businesses. She reflected on her first pregnancy and revealed that she had very little when Zachary was born.

“It’s always hard to comprehend that when I had Zachary 11 years ago I couldn’t even afford milk and used to need milk vouchers,” she wrote.

Stacey continued, “When people gift me things I feel like right now in my life I don’t deserve it and I know people who deserve it so much more.

“I then see posts like this. What it means to accept a gift and wear it and highlight the small business that sent it makes me feel amazing. Knowing that it could really change their lives and enhance that company when they really need it,” the mum-of-three wrote.

“It definitely doesn’t take away from the fact that it will always feel alien to me and injust knowing how many people really do need. But I will continue to support small businesses and donate all that I can to those who need it most,” Stacey concluded.
