She spent the best part of 20 years on our screens, so it’s not surprising to learn that Courteney Cox struggled with growing older in the spotlight.
In a newly-released clip from Running Wild with Bear Grylls, the 52-year-old actress is seen lamenting her decision to undergo cosmetic surgery.
The Friends legend admitted: “Getting older, it’s not the easiest thing, but I have learned lessons. I think I was trying to keep up with getting older and trying to chase that…Sometimes you find yourself trying, and you look at a picture of yourself and go, ‘Oh God, I look horrible’.”
“I have done things I regret, and luckily they are things that dissolve and go away, so that’s good; because it has not always been my best look. Now, I just have a new motto: just let it be,” she added.
Courteney is also a doting mum to 12-year-old Coco, and she described watching her daughter grow up as a ‘fantastic’ part of getting older.
The show will see Courteney spending 48 hours in the wilderness, in Ireland, and learning survival techniques from world-famous adventurer Grylls.
