Birth is a truly incredible experience, and one that never fails to get a reaction from those watching it play out before them – but this video features a rarity that many people will never have witnessed.
An amazing video shared to Facebook this week shows a baby being born while still in its amniotic sac.
The video, shared to the social networking site by one Jasmine Perez, shows a remarkably clear image of the tot moving its hands and head around inside the ultra-fine membrane.
After its sac is lightly pierced by a doctor’s scalpel, the tiny tot comes sliding out to take its first breath of air in the ‘real world’.
As you can imagine, this rare spectacle has really racked up the hits, garnering a massive 15-and-a-half million views in just seven days.
