We love how honest Serena Williams has been about her new life as a mum so far. The tennis champion took to Twitter to seek advice from her fellow mums on one very important topic- breastfeeding.

Serena asked her 10 million followers for their help in the honest tweet.

She wrote, “Fellow moms: How long did you breastfeed? Is it weird that I get emotional when I even just think about when it’s time to stop?

Fans quickly shared their words of wisdom with the Wimbledon champion. One wrote, “I’m breastfeeding my little girl, she’s 3.5 years old tomorrow. Breastfeeding is a wonderful thing, which continues to provide benefits for as long as you feed.”

They reassured Serena, “It’s not weird to get emotional.”

Another shared, “I breastfed my first for 13 months and it’s been 11 months with my second. You are amazing and your baby knows it.”

Many fans showered the new mum with praise for helping normalise breastfeeding. One wrote, “You are amazing. Thank you for doing something so positive for breastfeeding mums.”

Another mum told the sporting star not to worry, “Serena, it’s not weird at all. I felt very emotional on the last day my daughter breastfed.”

We love how Serena confides in her fans for support and advice. The majority of her fans agreed that she should do whatever works best for her and baby Alexis.

We can’t get over how much baby Alexis has grown since she was born back in September.
