They may have only been married for 10 months, but the fallout is stretching on for actor Jeremy Renner and his ex-wife, Sonni Pacheco.
The Avengers star has reportedly agreed to a settlement with Pacheco, after she took him to court over allegedly falling behind with his child support payments.
Renner, who wed and divorced from Pacheco in 2014, previously agreed to a $13K monthly payment.
According to US entertainment website TMZ, Renner was ordered by a court to pay $16,000 in child support as well as a further $24,000 for Pacheco’s lawyer and accountant.
It seems there is no love lost between the former couple, whose split has taken a series of ugly twists since December 2014.
Again, this week, Pacheco levelled very public criticism at Renner, expressing her disapproval of him posting photos of Ava on social media. She also branded his house ‘unsafe’ for the tot, on account of his gun collection.
Despite the drama with his ex-wife, Renner has always gushed about the wonders of fatherhood.
In a previous interview with Ellen DeGeneres, 45-year-old Renner said: “She’s [Ava] like number one in my life, and now I get to do movies on the side. Daddy’s my best role to date, I think.”
Let’s hope these two can put any ill-feeling aside for the sake of their little one.
