Meghan Markle is set to welcome her first child into the world next spring and the royal family are certainly feeling excited about it, especially Duchess Kate.

Kate understands the intensity that comes with having a royal baby- the media frenzy, the constant speculation, the public attention- so we’re not surprised to hear that the mum-of-three is helping organise quite the special celebration for Meghan.

According to Life and Style Magazine, Kate is busy organising quite the lavish affair for the former Suits star. The Duchess is planning Meghan’s baby shower and has vowed to make it a “truly unforgettable day.”

The mum is hoping the day will be extra special for Meghan, who has moved her entire life over to London for Prince Harry.

The source shared: “[Kate]’s a complete perfectionist and has already begun planning the celebration months in advance.”

The Duchess was planning on throwing the bash at Soho Farmhouse, which is one of Meghan’s favourite spots, but she has opted to host the event closer to home.

“[Kate] thinks it’ll be easier to host it at her Kensington Palace apartment.”

Baby showers have been growing in popularity in recent years and they don’t go against royal protocol so Meghan and her friends can happily celebrate her baby’s upcoming arrival without having to worry about the rules and regulations that come with being part of the royal family.

Kate’s gesture proves just how strong the bond is that she shares with Meghan. Rumour has it the Duchess of Cambridge has been a major support to Meghan during her first few months of pregnancy.

How sweet.
