Kick some ass: Drew Barrymore reveals the sweetest thing about her daughters

Drew Barrymore is a far cry away from her party girl heyday of the 90s.

The actor is loving mum life with her two little girls - six-year-old Olive and four-year-old Frankie.

And now that they are a little bit older, they can enjoy their mums work - namely her iconic movie roles.

The 44-year-old has starred in some great flicks from Never Been Kissed to 50 First Dates and many other rom-coms.

The girls, who Drew has with former husband Will Kopleman, love their mum's movie Ever After and 50 First Dates.

Drew said, ''It's weird because if anyone comes over and my movie's playing I'm like I swear to God, I'm not that ego jerk that's like, 'Here kids, we're watching!''"

She continued, ''But they call it a 'mom movie' and they just enjoy watching it and I'm proud of who I am and what I've done, and especially the messages - I made them exactly for what young girls and boys feel. We're all just trying to find love, be kind and kick some ass here and there."

Olive and Frankie have also seen E.T., which Drew appeared in as a child.

She said, ''Olive hasn't really gravitated to it as much as I would've thought so far, but I think she'll get back into it. She loves The Goonies."

Drew comes from a long ling of famous movie stars and it seems that her daughters want to join the family business.

She revealed, ''I always have Turner Classic Movies on in the background of the kitchen and my grandfather came on and I was like, 'Olive, there he is, there's your great-grandfather!'"

She added, ''I talk about John, Lionel, Ethel and she's like 'Everybody in our family is an actor.' I just said, 'But you get to do whatever you want to do' and she goes, 'I want to be an actress.' I said, 'OK, cool.' She goes, 'But I also need to be a policewoman.'"

We think that it's so cute that the three girls can enjoy the movies together and maybe follow in their mums footsteps one day.
