Santa Pod Raceway

Grab your earplugs and head to Santa Pod where all manner of car racing will delight petrolheads everywhere. Tucked away in the village of Podington on the Northants and Bedfordshire border, this attraction offers everything from monster trucks to motorcross and it really doesn’t matter if you don’t know the first thing about the events – just watch in awe. My kids sat spellbound in their giant noise-mufflers, munching on hotdogs, as the dragsters roared into life and reached speeds of up to 300mph. But the Pod isn’t just about fast and furious. They also hold cool VW festivals, training courses and club days. And guess what – there’s track days too where you get to have a go yourself. Every thrill seekers' dream.
