Situated on the Hampshire and Sussex border, Hollycombe is far more than just a working steam museum, it's a place where the past comes to life.
From the atmosphere of our traditional fairground, to riding on our steam railways, or wandering through the woodland gardens, there's something for all ages.
This is the most varied collection of steam engines and fairground rides in Britain, including a fully working Edwardian-era steam fairground, narrow gauge and miniature steam railways, as well as steam road engines, road rollers, and farm and other engines. The museum is run by unpaid volunteers who keep most of it in working order to entertain and educate you, as it would have done more than a century ago.
