Come along to Longdown Activity Farm for some frightfully fun activities on the run up to Hallowe’en; there’ll be lots of spooky stuff to see and do.
Monday 22nd October through to Sunday 28th October
Enter the Haunted Barn at your peril from where you can carve your very own pumpkin into a grimacing ghoul
Don’t forget to visit our brrrrrilliant resident face-painter Katie who will give you the chills when she turns even the most angelic child into a scary fiend!
Saturday 27th October and Sunday 28th October
Create a monster masterpiece with some blood-curdling crafts. Any children that arrive in spooky fancy dress on these days will be given entry at the reduced cost of £5.00 each.
Sunday 28th October
What could conjure up an atmosphere of spells and magic better than meeting and holding a real life barn owl? You can take part in this magical experience, and because Hallowe’en has to be a bit scary too, you can also encounter creeeeepy creatures like giant millipedes, snakes, lizards, rats and maybe a cockroach or two!
After all the scary stuff calm down with our friendly farm animals. Join in when you want to with a full schedule of farm activities lasting all day, which includes bottle-feeding kid goats and calves, small animal handling in the Animal Encounter Barn and feeding the ducks.
