See iconic objects from Stephenson's Rocket to the Apollo 10 command module, catch a 3D IMAX movie, take a ride on our simulators, visit an exhibition, and encounter the past, present and future of technology in seven floors of free galleries, including the Museum's famous hands-on galleries where children can have fun investigating science with our dedicated Explainer.

Visit the science museum website for details of free holiday events and workshops. Guided tours of the main galleries, such as Space and Making the Modern World, available throughout the day (suitable for most ages), ask staff on arrival or look out for notices in the galleries.

The Science Museum is free to enter however charges apply for the IMAX 3D Cinema, simulators and some special exhibitions. Pre-booking advised during school holidays.
