Blackbrook Park Play Area

This spacious play area was installed when the park was refurbished in 1999. Some additional items of the play equipment and park furniture were then installed in 2009. The equipment is suitable for toddler (2-5 years old) and junior ages (6-12 years old).  For older children and young people there is also a seating area. The play area is entirely enclosed by fencing and includes a wildflower meadow with mature trees and picnic benches.

 

Equipment includes:

Two tower multi play unit (junior) with slide, access steps, fireman's pole, log ramp & ladder

2 cradle swing (toddler)

4 metre high wire rope space net

4 swings (junior)

Trim trail with log traverse, balance beam, incline ramp, high level rope traverse, low level rope traverse and stepping stones

Young people's meeting area

Picnic benches
