Tiggywinkles, The Wildlife Hospital Trust, is a specialist hospital. Using every available veterinary welfare skill, we are dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating all species of British wildlife.
Since opening our doors over 200,000 patients have received treatment at Tiggywinkles.

 

Things to do and see

Hedgehog Talks – a chance to get up close and learn about these wonderful little mammals.  Talks held daily (times may vary).

 

Skeleton Exhibition – Our Orthopaedic suite has a live feed to our x-ray machine along with lots of amazing wildlife skeletons on display; everything from a tiny bat to a mute swan and muntjac deer!

 

Gift Shop – Lots of lovely gifts are available to buy, with all profits going towards the lifesaving work of the hospital.

 

Red Kite Flight Aviaries & Education Centre – A great opportunity to see these majestic birds. You will learn all about our experiences and encounters with these magnificent flyers since their return from the brink of extinction in the UK in the early nineties.

 

Viewing Windows into the Hospital – Take a peek into our mammal and baby bird nurseries, where you will see just some of the patients in our care. The animals you can see will vary, depending on the time of year – see our ‘What’s On’ section for more information.
