Kym Marsh is set to become a grandmother for the first time when her daughter Emilie gives birth.
And she has been helping her throughout every step of the pregnancy.
Now, in her column for OK! magazine, Kym opened up how her 21-year-old is dealing with the pregnancy - and about a touching moment between her and her daughter.
The Coronation Street actor wrote ''Last week I felt Emilie’s baby kick for the first time!''
She continued, ''Before, it was only Emilie who could feel him, but after Scott and I returned from Scotland we both felt him kicking. It’s so exciting!''
The 42-year-old then explained why Emilie had to go for another scan.
She said, ''Although the baby kept still during Emilie’s recent 20-week scan, they couldn't get all the measurements they wanted because he wouldn't move position, so she has to go for another scan soon.”
Kym also revealed on This Morning how she found out that her daughter was expecting a baby.
She said, ''She was doing my nails casually one day, and she just went: ‘I have a bit of a tummy ache, but I’m late’.''
She continued, ''I was like – ‘how late.' She said ‘oh, so many weeks..’ and I went, Emily do you not think we should do a test!”
We wish Emilie all the vest for the rest of her pregnancy - we know she'll be just fine with her mum by her side.
