She gave birth to her first child two weeks ago, and Lacey Chabert is clearly enjoying every second of being a mother.
The Mean Girls star, who welcomed daughter Julia Mimi Bella with husband Dave Nedar, was positively gushing as she opened up about her first impressions of parenthood.
In an interview with People, the 33-year-old said: “I instantly fell deeply in love with her. The pure joy of finally being able to see and kiss her sweet little face was a moment I’ll treasure forever. She truly is a blessing from God.”
Lacey, probably best known for her role in Party of Five, also went on to share the beautiful meaning behind her little one’s gorgeous name.
“We named her after my mum. My mother and I have always had a very close relationship, so I wanted to honour my mum by naming my daughter Julia as well,” she explained.
How sweet is that?! We bet her mother is only thrilled.
Lacey announced the arrival of baby Julia last week, via Instagram, describing her as ‘her heart’s deepest dream come true’.
