The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended a very special charity event at Paddington Station today.

The royals were joined by Prince Harry to celebrate the release of the movie Paddington 2 - and Kate was whisked off her feet by one very adorable cast member!

The mum-of-two twirled around the station with none other than the iconic Paddington Bear, as an adoring crowd of youngsters looked on at the Princess.

The royal trio and the cast of Paddington, including Hugh Bonneville, met the very lucky children who were selected by Their Royal Highnesses’ Charities Forum to go on a very special journey.

It is understood that the children who were part of the event are going through major struggles in their lives. The aim of the trip was to help lighten their spirits and distract them from their troubles.

The Duchess boarded the Belmond British Pullman train with Prince William and her brother-in-law, Prince Harry.

The children got to spend some quality time on the train with the Royals before it departed from Paddington Station.

The children selected for this wonderful treat have been helped by the charities involved in Kate, William and Harry’s charity forum.

Kensington Palace tweeted about the occasion, “Today’s special young passengers have been nominated by Their Royal Highnesses’ Charities Forum.”

They added, “The Forum brings together Their Royal Highnesses’ charitable interests to collaborate and support each other.”

The royals bid a fond farewell to the children as the train departed Paddington Station, and set off towards the English countryside.

Kate, William and Harry waved goodbye to the youths as they headed off on their exciting adventure.

It is evident that charity work is exceptionally important to the Duchess. Despite suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum, the 35-year-old found the strength to attend two charitable events this month.

William recently spoke about his wife’s devotion to charity work. He revealed that Kate was the one who first thought of setting up a mental health campaign.

The Duke stated, "It was Catherine who first realised that all three of us were working on mental health in our individual areas of focus. She had seen that at the core of adult issues like addiction and family breakdown, unresolved childhood mental health issues were often part of the problem."

He shared that they hoped the campaign would make a significant improvement to the way mental health is viewed in the United Kingdom, “When Catherine, Harry and I launched Heads Together, it is fair to say that we were ambitious about what it could achieve.”

They hosted a special reception for those involved in the Heads Together campaign, and Kate was in attendance at the momentous occasion on October 10.

This is Kate’s second public appearance since Kensington Palace announced that she was expecting her third child with Prince William.
