The SS22 collection has two parts. Katie said; “The illustrations & colour palette this season are inspired by our life outdoors. Grandmas Garden is where the wildflowers grow, the bees buzz and the kids attend to their vegetable patch. Save Our Seas was inspired by my daughter Lily and her love of fun facts and learning. This collection has hidden facts about marine life within the illustrations, its defiantly a conversation piece at bedtime!’

They also offer a bespoke personalisation and gifting service where they embroider their clothing and accessories, and hand print their gift boxes from their Wicklow studio! They offer a free handwritten note as part of their gifting service and all their packaging is either biodegradable, compostable or can be recycled. They also ship worldwide!
Katie Brandon Byrne is the designer and creator behind the award-winning sustainable business. Katie is a member of CIFD, (the Council of Irish Fashion Designers) and she was a Global Buyer for Primark before setting up her own brand. All her collections are inspired by her children & family life living beside the sea and their love for clean living and the outdoors. The ethos for Lil & Izzy is simple; to advocate slow living in this fast paced world, creating products that will stand the test of exploring by day & dreaming by night - that don’t cost the earth!
After spotting a gap in the Irish market three years ago, Katie went about developing her own range of organic babywear. Katie said; “After becoming a mother, I became much more eco-conscious. I started to really think about my options before buying from a brand. My youngest daughter Isabelle has hyper-sensitive skin, eczema and allergies, I found the choice of sustainable & organic baby products in Ireland very limited. I really couldn’t find what I wanted, so I went about designing my own. Several months later, Lil & Izzy was born!”
