Children can be pure, unadulterated comedy gold without even realising it – and one young baseball fan in the US has managed to leave the internet in absolute hysterics this week, with very little effort.

 

Last Saturday, the boy attended a baseball game between the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers and the TCU Frogs, with the game being streamed on ESPN.

 

Once the boy copped sight of the camera, and it landed on his face, he just couldn’t seem to resist having a little fun – and so began the most hilarious stare-down the internet has ever seen.

 

 

At first, the boy challenged the camera to a staring match:

 

 

Then, when he could no longer hold it, it turned to a ‘glare-off’, and we thought that was the end of that.

 

 

That is, until he started to wiggle his shoulders and raise his eyebrows:

 

 

At this point, the two male commentators were in hysterics; and once she copped what’s going on, the boy’s mother was equally as amused:

 

 

Judging by that final frame, we reckon he had no idea his ‘performance’ was going out to the entire world:
