We previously saw a mother’s pure delight at finding out that, after six boys, she was finally having a baby daughter. The reaction of this little boy upon discovering that a fifth sister is on the way, however, is quite a bit different.
Six-year-old Matthew Last is the eldest child in his family, and he was just as excited as his little sisters were when he found out that parents Laura and Andrew were expecting again.
True to the latest trend, the Lasts decided to make a ‘moment’ of their gender reveal, capturing their little ones’ reactions to finding out that they are to welcome a baby sister.
In a photo shared to Facebook by a highly amused Andrew, it seems that young Matthew has had just about enough of pink. Surrounded by four beaming little princesses, the big brother is seen holding his hands up to his head in utter dread and fear!
“This little guy just found out that he’s getting a fifth sister!” wrote Andrew, posting the shot to the 'Life of Dad' Facebook page.
As terrified as Matthew may look in the photo, his mum Laura assured Today that he is actually delighted at the prospect of becoming a big brother once again.
“He is a protective big brother, a great leader, and really helps take care of all his little sisters,” the doting mum said.
