Whether we like to admit it or not, the sporting achievements and losses of those team close to our hearts really get to us. The Rugby World Cup has brought some tense and emotional moments, but the following reaction, from little Anabelle, takes the crown.
With New Zealand and Australia set to battle it out for World Cup glory this weekend, spare a thought for this poor little girl who is half-Australian, half-Kiwi – and completely torn between her allegiances!
In a video uploaded by a loved one, little Anabelle can’t hold back the tears as she explains her painful dilemma: who does she back to win the trophy?
“I really want to go for New Zealand, but if Australia lose, I’ll be really sad!” the adorable tot says to the camera, tears streaming down her face.
While we can understand her sadness, there is a silver-lining for little Anabelle – technically, she’s facing into a win-win situation, whatever the result!
