Strictly has been hit by a wave of backlash since Seann Walsh and Katya Jones were spotted kissing in the street, but another couple is about to steal their spotlight.
Rumour has it one contestant is getting very close to professional dancer Giovanni Pernice.
According to The Sun, former Pussycat Doll member Ashley Roberts has got her eyes on the 28-year-old dancer.
The Strictly Come Dancing team have noticed the pair getting close behind the scenes. Apparently, the duo has really hit it off, despite the distance.
“He is training up north at the moment while she is based down here so they only get to see each other towards the end of the week. But they’ve been making the most of it,” they shared.
The pair has been enjoying many dates in the Big Smoke after performing on the beloved dance show: “After the show each week they’ve been heading out for drinks together in London and just hanging out and looking very cosy.”
“It’s very early days but it looks like things are going well.”
There’ll be no scandal surrounding Giovanni and Ashley’s romance: “Of course they’re both single so it’s all totally innocent fun.”
The Strictly lovebirds have yet to comment on their relationship status, but we think they make quite the match.
Giovanni previously found love on the dance show. The Italian dancer dated his celebrity partner and Coronation Street star Georgia May Foote when she joined the cast of 2015.
