The Duchess of Sussex celebrated the pending arrival of her first child in New York in February. She was joined by her closest friends to celebrate the momentous time in her life.
The celebration took place in The Mark hotel in the Upper East Side, making it quite the lavish occasion.
Between the celebrity guest list and the Michelin star menu, Meghan certainly celebrated in style.
She may have been surrounded by her darling friends, including Amal Clooney and Serena Williams, but there was one very special figure missing from the party… Prince Harry.
The dad-to-be did not attend the celebration, but Meghan’s friends who organised (and paid for) the bash made sure Harry was still involved in the event somehow.
There was one extremely sweet detail about the baby shower that has certainly melted our hearts on this dreary day.
The baby shower cake featured a special illustration of Meghan, Harry and their baby in a pram.
The beautiful, two-tier cake looks too good to eat. It was created by baker Madison Lee.
The cake topper of the adorable family was made by Darcy Miller.
There’s no doubt the special creation brought a smile to Meghan’s face, who was undoubtedly missing her husband that day.
The Duchess of Sussex is due to give birth at the end of April or beginning of May so there isn’t long to go until she becomes a mum for the first time.
We are so excited for Meghan and Harry to become parents.
