Zombiiemummy consists of a family of three: Hannah, Dean and their son A, who is two-and-a-half-years-old. A parent and lifestyle blog, the eco-conscious family have a love for art and crafts, the great outdoors, shopping and family fun.

Writing on a wide range of topics from reviews to daily life and recipes to holidays, Hannah, who prides herself on her truthful content, always bring a little bit of fun into her blogs.

Blogging Monday to Friday and caring for a young son she is clearly very busy so we were delighted when Hannah took the time out to speak with us.

1. What is the most important thing you have learned since becoming a mum?

The most Important thing I have learned since becoming a mum is that there is no such thing as a perfect parent. The Mary Poppins persona is non-existent and I shouldn't try to be it either - something I still have to tell myself, even now.

2. What's the most ridiculous/hilarious/unbelievable thing your child has done?

The most hilarious and unbelievable thing A has ever done is cover my entire living room carpet and sofa in Sudocrem! At the time I stood there my mouth wide open, I didn't know where to start - it was everywhere! All I could do was laugh with A because I was so shocked. I got it all out eventually and the Sudocrem is now on a high shelf!

3. What's the weirdest thing you've said/done as a parent?

The weirdest thing I have ever said as a parent is: "Please don't lick the windows, we don't lick windows" - something I'd never thought I'd ever say. I'm sure it's not the last weird thing I will though!

4. Name one thing you do that helps keep you sane?

The one thing that keeps me sane is spending time with my mummy friends. Sharing experiences, worries and even personal things helps me feel reassured that I'm not the only person going through things like the fussy eating stage or the embarrassing public tantrums.

5. What is the best piece of advice you would give to other mums?

The best piece of advice I would give to other mums is to try and take a few minutes out of the day for yourself. Whether it's an actual hot cup of tea/coffee for once or even just a visit to the loo by yourself do it if you can.

6. If you had to choose just one thing that you absolutely love about being a mum what would it be?

If I had to choose just one thing I love about being a mum it would be the feeling you get when your little one sees you from a little distance and runs towards you. Eyes wide and a big smile on their face as they throw their arms around you, it's just the best! There's no other greater honour than the honour of being your little one's entire world (even if it's only for so long).
