Lucy, also known as Mrs. H, lives in beautiful Rochester in Kent with her husband, Mr. H and their nearly two-year-old daughter, Miss. H

The mum-of-one began blogging in 2012, after recovering from a relapse in depression and after her therapist told her that it was important she focused in on things that make her happy.

Since then she admits her blog has changed many times to reflect her life and when she gave birth in 2013, she became a mummy blogger.

Writing about life as a mother, her experiences of having long-term depression and her daughter, Lucy is clearly a very busy woman, so we were delighted when she agreed to let us into her mummy secrets.

What is the most important thing you have learned since becoming a mum?

I've learned to trust myself. I am stronger, more intuitive and wiser than I thought.

What's the most ridiculous/hilarious/unbelievable thing your child has done?

For some reason, Little Miss. H does not like the end of  The Beauty and the Beast. She cries hysterically when the beast is turned back into a prince. She genuinely hates it. It is the funniest and sweetest thing.

She also has a habit of taking my knickers off the drying rack and wearing them as a necklace. Sometimes she wears multiple pairs and occasions she likes to add Mr H's boxer shorts to the mix.

What's the weirdest thing you've said/done as a parent?

I think that I do weird and ridiculous things on a daily basis as a parent, mainly to entertain the munchkin. I have no shame! So I can often be found doing odd dances, singing silly songs, making funny faces and speaking in high-pitched voices when out in public.

Name one thing you do that helps keep you sane?

I try to make sure that I have lots of 'me time'. As a stay-at-home-mum, there are days when I don't have a moment alone and, while I wouldn't change it for the world, it is important to make sure that I have some time when I can do something that I love like blogging, reading a book, having a bath or getting an early night.

What is the best piece of advice you would give to other mums?

Be kind to yourself. As a mum, it is quite easy to doubt every decision you make and blame yourself for everything. But being a mum is hard and you should give yourself credit; you are doing an amazing job and should be proud of yourself - sit back and take a good look at your children and know that you are a brilliant mum.

If you had to choose just one thing that you absolutely love about being a mum, what would it be?

The feeling of my daughter's hand in mine when we go for a walk. It has to be one of the best things ever.
