Imagine having one set of identical twins and then, just four years later, giving birth to another set!

Well that’s exactly what happened to mum Simone Burstow, who welcomed identical baby girls Evie and Georgia this month.

Simone and hubby John, from Brisbane Australia, are already parents to four-year old little boys Oliver and Harrison, who are “chuffed with their gig as big brothers”.

“We are absolutely over the moon to welcome the safe (but slightly early arrival) of our two beautiful girls,” they wrote on their Instagram page It’s Twins Again. “Born right on 35 weeks, these Father's Day miracles are tiny but perfect! Our gorgeous Evie Alexandra (2028g) arrived very quickly, and not quite 20 mins later we met our beautiful Georgia Grace (2220g).

“We are completely besotted and in a total love bubble. Harry and Ollie are very chuffed with their gig as big brothers and loved meeting their sisters.”

Simone and John’s twins were naturally conceived, making their birth a one-in-100,000 chance – crazy considering there had been no family history of twins.

And of course with identical twins comes the challenge of telling them apart – again!

“We're finding the girls more identical than the boys,” Simone told Daily Mail Australia. “We've kept their hospital bands on at the moment because we're nervous. Their head shapes are a little bit different and that's what I'm using, but my husband is like, ‘Who have I got?’”

We’re sure they’ll get the hang of it eventually!
