Milli Hill is the founder of the Positive Birth Movement as well as being a writer and a mum.

This week, she has hit headlines as she reaches out to Facebook to question the banning of photos of child birth, but allowing photos of Kim Kardashian’s bum to be all over newsfeeds worldwide.

Milli took to Twitter to hit out at the social media giant, posting a photo of a water birth that was banned on Positive Birth Movement’s Facebook page, next to a photo of Kim’s infamous Paper shot, to ask why some nudity is ok, and others banned: “How come some bums are ok and some bums are not. I’m confused Facebook.”

She then spoke with The Daily Dot about the photo, highlighting similarities: “[It’s] interesting how similar the pictures are and how one can be so much more readily accepted.”

Many mums have had issues with Facebook and Instagram when it comes to what should be normal loving photos of breastfeeding, many of which have been removed due to their ‘nude’ nature.

Hopefully changes can be implemented across all social media sites to allow mums to share their beautiful photos of motherhood without fear of being banned.
