The mother of a little girl, who is currently battling cancer, felt compelled to share her daughter's story on Facebook yesterday after surprising her child with a night out at a Taylor Swift concert.
Allison Brinson Rayburn, who decided to treat her daughter, Taylor, to tickets to see her favourite singer, never imagined the night would develop as it did.
Giving her followers an insight into the evening, Allison wrote: "She wasn't able to celebrate on her real birthday so we thought we would surprise her and take her...no idea her dream of meeting her would come true!"
Upon seeing little Taylor in the crowd, the star's own mother, Andrea, who is also battling cancer invited Allison's daughter to enjoy the concert alongside her before organising a surprise meeting between her daughter and Allison's.
"Taylor's sweet mom was in the audience and took us back stage to meet her. So thank you Mrs. Andrea and Taylor Swift for making my child's year!" gushed Allison in a post which has been shared hundreds of times since its upload yesterday.
Explaining the impact the kind gesture had on her little girl, Allison continued: "She needed this! This is a night she will always remember! She left saying, "I can't tell if this is a dream or for real!"
Allison paid tribute to the 25-year-old star and her crew, writing: "Taylor and her entourage were the sweetest and most humble people. She is just like you see on TV...I think we were all star struck!"
Messages have flooded the grateful mum's Facebook page since her overjoyed upload, with one follower writing: "The most beautiful two Taylors."
We couldn't agree more!
