What would it take for you to be pregnant, but not to have the slightest clue that you are expecting? If all the factors add up, not a whole lot, it seems!

This was the case recently for Stephanie Jaegers, who entered hospital in the belief that she was suffering with kidney stones – only give birth to her fourth child.

Stephanie alerted husband Michael when she began experiencing lower back and abdominal pain as well as 'waves' of cramping.

One of the first things the doctors asked Stephanie was whether or not she was pregnant – and she answered ‘no’.

However, an ultrasound proved that she was, indeed, expecting – and she was actually 38 weeks gone.

Stephanie and Michael welcomed a healthy, seven-pound son named Shaun Jude just hours later.

Michael is Walking Dead super-fan, and he took to his Facebook fan page to respond to those asking how Stephanie went through her pregnancy without any knowledge of it.

While they credited Stephanie’s diagnosis with pre-menopause for the hormone imbalance, Michael said: “Shaun was also breech throughout the entire pregnancy, which prevented him from moving around to indicate to Steph that he was in there, and his position made it to where Steph didn’t ‘show’.”

“The most bizarre part is, she continued to have a menstrual cycle, which the hospital tells us is rare but can happen,” he added, revealing that she has also been off of her feet due to an ankle injury.

Admitting that they had ’30 minutes’ to prepare to become parents again, Michael said that they are coping as best as they can.

“We have two other great kids willing to help out as much as possible. And while it was very unexpected, we’ve been blessed for a fourth time with an angel,” he wrote.

We’re wishing them all the luck in the world.
