Angi Fletcher epitomises fitness goals.

The mum-of-two credits her love of exercise in helping her through a mentally distressing period in her life, not for helping her become 'skinny'.

Many make the mistake of assuming people work-out to become slim, but most work-out to remain mentally and physically strong.

And following the birth of her second child, Angi is more than OK with knowing her body will never be the same again, no matter how much she exercises.

"But my body is not just for me anymore," declared mum.

Angi reveals the main reason she works out, and it's as caring as it is beautiful, far from the routine perception.

"I workout not to be skinny or fit into a certain pair of jeans but to be strong enough to hold my babies when they need me even when they are teenagers."

"I workout and nourish my body so that my kids will have me around to take care of them as long as God has me on this earth. I want my children to know that they did not 'ruin my body' they helped transform me into a mother."

The mum's body is within her control, she will remain healthy no matter what size she is, because she wants her children to see her as 'strong and capable'.

But not alone will her children see this, Angi too will feel the benefits: "I continue to grow stronger the less I criticise my body and the more I believe in myself and stay grateful for everything my body and mind can accomplish."

"Living your best life has nothing to do with the scale and everything to do with your attitude."

We couldn't agree with this mum - live your best life mums, who needs a scales anyways?
