As most mums know, finding time for sex can be a tricky business... and more strategic than romantic.
It's all about making time for yourself and your significant other, but even at that, it doesn't always go to plan.
One mum who is a true example of this is blogger Kirsty Kemp, who recently shared her hilarious post-kids sex story on Facebook.
"I am not sure when the last time we actually had sex when the kids were up" Kirsty explains in this honest, and funny post.
After feeding her kids, and putting them to bed early, Kirsty and her husband saw a perfect opportunity for some "alone time".
"We get into the warm shower that is quickly loosing heat because my kids took most of the hot water" the mum explained to her 866,000 followers.
"Trying to catch our footing we hear a loud 'SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK!' I start cursing the toy dolphin under my breath."
"As we are desperate to keep the mood going we realize the alphabet toys below us.... We are surrounded.... Finally we both crack up and the sexual mood disappears."
Rather than go to bed silently, after a failed attempt at having sex, the pair decided to snap a picture of the toy-covered shower, to remind everyone that "parenting is a crazy ride".
