It’s happened to most of us at one point or another – we leave cereal or lunch in a communal fridge or cupboard, only to notice that some cheeky character has been siphoning off our stash.
But one mum got the ultimate revenge when she posted a note on her coffee creamer informing the thief that it was her breast milk they were drinking all along.
“Good morning!” she wrote. “Whoever has been enjoying my coffee creamer all week… SURPRISE!!! You’ve been drinking my BREAST MILK. Hope you enjoyed. Cheers!”
And in case the creamer crook was worried about the nutritional benefits of their filched booty, she even added: “P.S. It’s organic. So no worries.”
A photo of the note was posted on popular mum Facebook page Breastfeeding Mama Talk, and was roundly met by much mirth – as well as insistence that the thief actually struck it lucky!
“If I run out of milk or creamer I use breast milk. It's seriously the best coffee creamer,” said one commenter. While another added: “I would find out who it was and charge them for the great nutritional supplement they got for free! Bet they felt great that week and didn't know why! Lol”
“This is hilarious!!” read another. “But I'd also be pissed!! Breast milk is like gold.”
It sure is!
