The gift that we didn't realise we needed has finally come to life!

Rachel Lee, who is a registered nurse in the United States, recently sent a proposal to Unicode- the company who created the emoji keyboard.

The proposal was of a woman breastfeeding her baby, and we are totally obsessed.

Rachel said that "the lack of a breastfeeding emoji represents a gap in the Unicode Standard given the prevalence of breastfeeding in cultures around the world, and throughout history."

Rachel submitted the emoji design, in a "cradle hold," which she said is "the most popular method of holding a baby when breastfeeding."

The breastfeeding emooji was actually in the top 30 most requested of 2016, so this is a really important move.

Unicode at a have a company meeting in November, where they will discuss Rachel's proposal and hopefully impress parents all over the world!
