BBC presenter Rachael Bland has revealed the devastating news that she only has mere days left to live. The mum shared the harrowing news on Twitter this afternoon.
The journalist, who was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2016 tweeted: “In the words of the legendary Frank S - I’m afraid the time has come my friends.”
She continued: “And suddenly. I’m told I’ve only got days. It’s very surreal. Thank you so much for all the support I’ve received.”
“Debs and lozz will continue with the #youmebigc podcast. Au revoir my friends,” she added.
The broadcaster has been sharing her heartbreaking experience through her podcast You, Me and the Big C and on her blog.

Earlier this year, the 40-year-old said her cancer had spread and was incurable.
The mum bravely wrote about the moment she got that dreaded phone call. She explained she was visiting an ice cream farm with her son Freddie and his friends when her doctor called.
“My heart raced as I answered it, knowing a phone call did not bode well. Then came the words ‘I am so sorry, it’s bad news,” the mum shared.
She continued: “I watched my little Freddie innocently playing away in a tyre in the barn and my heart broke for him. I scooped him up and dashed home and then had to break Steve’s heart with the news that my cancer was now metastatic and therefore incurable.”
We are sending our love and support to Rachael, her husband Steve and their son Freddie during this devastating time.
