Myleene Klass gets honest about being in lockdown as a new mum

Parents have been praising the new Early Days Club Live by Irish brand WaterWipes. The honest and entertaining life-line is for new and expecting parents during lockdown. The live panel event was guest hosted by comedienne and busy parent Ellie Taylor, bringing new and expecting parents together to have an open and honest conversation about parenthood.

Parents were able to tune in and have their questions answered on dealing with early parenting moments during COVID-19 by a well-known parenting panel, including Myleene Klass, Ryan Thomas and Irish healthcare professional Dr Laura Lenihan and midwife Marie Louise - both of which are currently expecting.

One of the top highlights was hearing Myleene Klass talk about the positives of being in lockdown as a new mum.

The presenter couldn’t help but gush about her tiny tot, “I actually had a moment today. There are so many rumours going on today as what is going to happen in lockdown. It’s almost like Stockholm syndrome. I am really, really, really loving being at home and having that mat leave that I never thought I would have with my baby”, adding “I am loving having time with my partner and having time with my baby.”

She even offered her top advice for those early days of motherhood, “Mum knows best” adding “It’s very difficult when you are a first-time mum to have the confidence to say 'I want to do it my way’ but ultimately, your way is the right way.”

Myleene is too right. Us mamas need to trust ourselves more, especially during these daunting times.
