While we've no doubt she looked utterly flawless, the new mum stunned fans after she refused to include her face in a recent shot she took of herself and uploaded to Instagram- a decision which surprised some followers.
Focussing instead on the stunning floral dress from her new range, the 41-year-old made reference to a sleepless night with eight-month-old daughter, Esmeralda, and decided not to bear all for the camera in the aftermath.
Explaining her decision, the star who shares a life with actor, Ryan Gosling, captioned the shot: "Loving this summer dress from our new @nyandcompany collection. Didn't include my face because last night was long and crazy."
But before Eva's legions of fans and followers jumped to conclusions and assumed the actress was up until all hours rubbing shoulders with fellow celebrities, the new mum continued: "Yup, really wild, like eight month teething baby kinda wild."
Oh Eva, we know only too well, but we definitely agree with a loyal fan who wrote: "Don't be so hard on yourself! Love yourself, you're gorgeous!"
