She recently welcomed her first child to the world, and it seems Chelsee Healey is keen to share the reality of childbirth with her followers.

The 28-year-old, best known for her roles in Waterloo Road and Hollyoaks, gave birth to her daughter a fortnight ago. After sharing a series of sweet shots of little fingers, and pretty balloons and prams; she took to Instagram to post a photo from her labour.

In the shot, Chelsee is seen sitting on her ball, wearing just her underwear; her bump on full display.

“The day/night my life changed forever. For the better,” she wrote, for her 246K-strong Insta-following.

Chelsee came in for major praise for sharing the photo online, with many followers paying tribute to her willingness to share insights into such a personal experience.

“You’re stunning,” wrote one. “Not many celebs show it how it is. Hope your beautiful daughter is doing OK.”

“Beautiful real, true image – thank you for keeping it real,” wrote another.

Others, meanwhile, loved the fact that Chelsee kept her hoop earrings in during the birth!

Chelsea welcomed her little girl on July 13, and announced the news across her social media channels. She posted a sweet photo of a set of cushions, the pink embroidery reading, ‘Baby Molloy’.

After previously describing the day of her daughter’s birth as ‘the hardest’ she has ever put down, she got real about the birth process.

“Had the worst and longest labour, which ended up with me having to have an emergency C-section,” explained the mum-of-one.

“You were worth it, my baby doll. We love you so much already, precious baby. Thank you for all the beautiful messages. Means the world!”

Chelsee recently found herself at the centre of relationship rumours, when speculation arose that she and partner Jack may have split before or following the birth of their daughter.

The actress has since taken to Instagram to set the record straight – by sharing a photo of herself and her beau, a simple love heart emoji in the caption.

We have a feeling we might be hearing a whole lot more about Chelsee’s birth experience in the very near future – perhaps in a glossy magazine?!

Either way, we have much respect for her, for sharing such a public insight into a very personal experience.
