Life for a new mum is always busy, but things usually aren't quite this hectic!

A new mum made it to her wedding just four hours after giving birth to her second child. Cleaner Jasmine Grief welcomed her new son Anthony at 7.40am on her wedding day, before making a 45 mile trip from Northumbria to Gretna Green in Scotland to tie the knot with the father of her baby, Karl Storey.

The doting new mum walked up the aisle at 11.30am with little Anthony in her arms.

Wedding guests were left in awe of Jasmine's choice to go ahead with the wedding as planned "We were in more of a state of shock than Jasmine who seemed to take it all in her stride," said friend Michelle Hall.

"No-one here could believe that she had just had the baby that she carried in to her own wedding."

The newlyweds already have one child together, two-year-old Emily.

Jasmine worked right up to Anthony's birth and plans to return within a week. Her new husband is amazed at her strength and stamina. "She is the most amazing woman, nothing fazes her at all and she's got endless energy," he said. "Anthony was as good as gold during the ceremony and it's turned out to be the most amazing day of my life. I can't take it all in."

We wish the new couple and their growing family all the best!
