2018 is set to be one very special year for Eva Longoria who is expecting her first baby. The Desperate Housewives star posted the most heart-warming photo of her growing baby bump to Instagram.
The actress wrote, “New year, new adventures! I’m so grateful to my beautiful family for giving this new baby so much love already! #HappyNewYear #2018,” alongside a photo where she is cradling her baby bump.
Members of Eva’s family also placed their hands on her bump for the sweet snap.
According to reports, Eva is four months into her first pregnancy, which means she’ll be welcoming her little bundle of joy into the world in the spring.
The actress confirmed the news via her representative a week before Christmas. This is Eva’s first child with husband José Antonio ‘Pepe’ Bastón.
Eva previously opened up about becoming a parent in an interview with E! News, saying having a child with José would be a blessing.
Before she married her 49-year-old husband, the actress shared that she was worried about getting pregnant at an older age, “I just turned 40, so I have thought, 'Is time running out?”
The 42-year-old actress is already a step-mum to her husband’s three children, whom she referred to as a ‘gift’.
Speaking about her family in 2015, she shared, "We are fulfilled. If there is anything else to come, it would be icing on the cake.”
We cannot wait for Eva to welcome her little bundle of joy into the world.
