You know the way that as soon as you become a mum your life is no longer your own?
Course you do.
Well one mum who knows this all too well shared a sweet selfie of her and her son – but all wasn’t what it seemed because she was actually doing a POO (sorry about the caps there) as her son sat on her lap.
Mummy blogger Sophia Cachia, who is known for her raw honesty about this crazy journey we call motherhood, shared the photo on her Instagram page @theyoungmummy.
And while some might say it’s TMI, we applaud the way she doesn’t give a, well, s**t.
“To the naked eye, this looks like your standard cute photo of Bobby & I,” the Melbourne mum wrote wryly.
“This photo was in fact captured whilst I was taking a poo. Just thought I'd let you all know. Especially for all those planning on having children soon. This. Is. Your. Life. Goodnight.”
And of course mums everywhere could relate.
“I can sympathise and totally relate,” said one mum. “I was on the toilet the other week with my son watching ABC kids on my lap.”
While another added, “This is literally every mother!”
However one mum has thought of a clever way to avoid this situation: “Haha,” she wrote. “Yep if lil miss is wanting to keep me in her sight I have the bouncer in the bathroom with me lol.”
