We all have one of those days. We guess that's exactly why we call them 'one of those days'.

It was frustrating, hard, emotional and exhausting; it was relentless and never ending.

But - it does end.

And with that comes a new day, a day we can look forward to and start all over again.

Mum-of-two, Ginger Hughes, had one of those days lately, however it wasn't the only type she has had, remembering to find happiness in the positive as quick as we find misery in the negative.

"Thoughts of a day filled with frustration, ending in despair. Thoughts of a day filled with busyness, ending in fatigue. Thoughts of a day filled with unmet expectations, ending in unmet dreams. 'It's been one of those days', we say, as we slump down on the sofa at the end of a hard day."

"But there are other kinds of days as well. Days filled with laughter and ending in joy. Days filled with purpose ending in a heart full of hope. Days filled with opportunities ending in realised dreams."

Ginger had a day full of kindness, a day filled with thanksgiving and gratitude, filled with a natural beauty that refreshes and rejuvenates you as a mum and woman.

The mum-of-two recognises these days as important, because she feels it is essential to recognise these days as much as the tough ones, it's what makes us tick.

"Those other kinds of days, the hard kind, will come. There’s no doubt about that."

"But it's important to remember in the midst of those, that a new day will dawn. And with the dawning of a new day, comes hope. And with hope, comes joy."

"So if you’re having one of the hard days, please hold on. A new day is on the way."

And if you’re having a day filled with beauty and wonder, let us remember to give thanks and be grateful."

Be kind to yourselves mums, tomorrow is always another day.
