Parents have been warned of a scam doing the rounds on WhatsApp that offers families free tickets to Peppa Pig World.

Paultons theme park warned parents of the scam that is asking people to share personal information such as their bank details.

They tweeted: “Scam Alert. We have been advised that a message offering 5 free passes to 500 families to Paultons is being shared on WhatsApp.”

They added: “Please note this is not a genuine offer and is not associated with Paultons Park.”

“We advise that you do not click the link or share the message. PP,” they stressed.

If you click on the fake offer it leads you to an online survey that asks users to fill in personal details in exchange for the ‘free’ tickets.

They have advised parents to take extra caution, especially as the summer holidays begin. It is understandable that parents would be inclined to click on the link, but they have urged the public to be cautious if they receive the WhatsApp message.

Peppa Pig World is a family favourite, especially during the summer months. The park is bound to be bustling with people this year as it is set to open two new rides.

This summer, The Queen's Flying Coach ride and Grampy Rabbit's Sailing Club will open.
